Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who may be vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals; those looked after by the local authority and the children of armed service personnel.

All schools are required to report on the amount of Pupil Premium funding received and how this is being used to improve outcomes for children.

For the Academic Year 2015 - 2016, Donington Cowley Endowed Primary School received £66,360 in Pupil Premium funding and £300 in Armed Services Personnel funding. Please click here to see the allocation and impact of the Pupil Premium for the Academic Year 2015 - 2016.


For the Academic Year 2016 - 2017, Donington Cowley Endowed Primary School received £37,730 in Pupil premium Funding for September 2016 - 31st March 2017.  The anticipated Pupil Premium Funding for April 2017 - August 2017 is £34,100.
