Welcome to Juniper Class 2016 - 2017

Mrs Farrow is the Class Teacher and our Teaching Assistant  is Mrs Howarth.

Welcome to the summer term!

We have a very busy and exciting term ahead.

We have lots of hands on, exciting and fun-filled learning experiences planned for you to enjoy.

This half term our topic is ‘animals’ and next half term it is ‘the seaside’.

Our role play 'Vets' this half term is always very popular and next half term our seaside role play gets us all in holiday mood! Never will I have eaten so many ice-creams!

We have a very exciting trip to Rand Farm Park planned where we can bottle feed the lambs and have a tractor ride.

Nearer to the end of term we will have sports day to look forward to.  I wonder which race will be your favourite.  Keeping the egg on the spoon always proves to be quite tricky!

Please check the links further down this page to see what else we will be learning and the books we will be reading.

Important information

P.E days are Tuesday and Friday. Please leave your child’s P.E kit in school and ensure it is all clearly named. They need a full indoor and outdoor kit.

Reading books are changed on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We would like your child to be reading daily at home as the more they practice the better they will become. Please sign their Reading Record once they have read so that we know their book needs changing.

High frequency words are tested on a Tuesday. Please help your child to learn to read these. These are words that occur regularly in your child’s reading books so it is important that they are able to read them.
