Spring Term

This term, Chestnut Class is looking forward to another term full of new and exciting things to learn! In Science, the class will be investigating and completing some more exciting experiments. Follow the link below to see our chocolate experiment from last term, we loved making a mess! Our Science lessons will be focused on learning about humans and animals. We are looking forward to being ‘mad’ scientists again!

Our Geography lessons will focus on rivers and the water cycle, this will include investigating rivers in the rainforest. Our Design Technology project this term is to design and sew a rainforest animal. Chestnut Class will become experts at sewing!

To inspire our writing and reading, Chestnut will read Roald Dahl’s The Fantastic Mr Fox. Last term, Chestnut thoroughly enjoyed reading The BFG and produced some fantastic pieces of work!

We are looking forward to another wonderful term!
